Hi Everyone, We are now in Titusville, Approching Jacksonville really soon.
We where really happy to welcome new people aboard for the last few days. We are now around 20 people aboard, It’s lively and really nice in here.
Here is a nice text wrote by Anna, our choreographer…
We were five to join the ship Wednesday in Moore Haven, population 1,700, taking the highway from Jacksonville to meet up with the Amara Zee on that quiet shore.
Leaving Moore Haven, we sailed across Lake Okeechobee, passed through Port Macaya, docked, and slept by a shipyard between Stuart and Indiantown. Beside us that night was a magnificent tugboat, long abandoned and left to grow a fat garden of creeping vines.
Early Friday, we crossed the Saint Lucie Lock, the morning full of manatees and herons. Lost Florida towns and murky palm tree groves gave way to yacht clubs and drab condos just as the full sun came out, then onto the Manatee Pocket, towards the Indian River and the expanse of the Intracoastal Waterway. We’re docked tonight in Vero Beach.
The crew on board are: Nans, two Pauls, Lutz, Andy, Bernard, Jordan, Jesse, James, Marcus, Doria, Amira, Anna (me). Spirits are calm.
